Wildlife World Zoo - 2011

April 2011

Another trip to the Wildlife World Zoo

Its a great little Zoo to visit.  The only down fall is... almost all the animals they have are animals that are on Papa Jim's Ranch in Texas.
The good thing is that we are able to speed through in about half the time.

Of coarse they had to get on the carousel

Easter 2011

April 24th, 2011

The girls were sooo excited to see what the Easter Bunny had brought them that they were up at 6 am.  Yes, there is no sleep in our home when holidays are around.

We looked B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

After hunting Easter eggs at home and opening their baskets, we were off to the Hospital to spend Easter with Papa Coy, Mama Saunie, Uncle Casey & Aunt Jaime.

G & G's 65th Wedding Anniversary

June 5th, 2011

65 years... Who would have thought that Love could last that long.

If only everyone's Love would last 65 years.

Memorial Day 2011 Show Low, AZ

May 28, 2011

It was definitely time to get out of the Valley for a few days.  Mom and I decided to take the girls to Show Low for the Memorial Day Weekend and do some antiquing.

As we got into town we noticed that there was an Art Festival and Car Show at the Local VFW.  It was great considering the VFW was just at the end of the street.

The Art Festival was alright but we got the chance to see an Apache Helicopter in person. It was awesome!  The girls were so excited to see it up close.  Those things are HUGE!

There was a little memorial in the yard of the VFW. Pretty neat.

Of coarse the girls saw the Giant Inflatable Slide and had to take a turn.  They got a little crazy on their way down.

 A quick pic after lunch

She's ready to fly away :)

A quick stop in Pine at another Art Festical before heading home

Even though it was a quick trip, it was much needed

Little Tadpoles

Summer 2010

The girls could not wait till the pool was warm enough to swim.

I look at these pictures and laugh each time I see them in their goggles.

I have them on my desk to make me smile every time I look at them.

Halloween 2010 - My Little Pirate & Witch

October 31, 2010

This year I let the girls decide what they wanted to be for Halloween.

So Gracie knew right away that she wanted to be a Pirate (more Swashbuckler) but still cute.

Maddie on the other hand went thru 3 or 4 different choices before I finally said that was enough and we decided on a Witch.

Since we moved into the new house and there are a whole 5 house in our neighborhood. So we decided to go to our old neighborhood and Trick or Treat with some of our friends.

Show Low Trip - October 2010

 October 6, 2010

Another GREAT weekend in Show Low, AZ. We wanted to do something different so we decided to take the girls to Sunrise Ski Resort in Springerville, AZ.  It was awesome.

We took the chair lift to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the scenery. Neither of the girls were over excited about the idea of getting on the  But man did we get up to the top just in time.

Five minutes after we got to the top it started hailing and dropped a good 15 degrees.

Our good friends Dave & Nicole came up to enjoy the weekend with us.

We found this little Mexican Restaurant close to the house. The food was okay but I was more excited about the grass area and red barn behind the buidling.

She looks so cute & innocent... but dont let her looks fool you :)

Awww, sisterly love... This will be one to show them in about 10 years

Oak Creek Canyon Photo Session

Friday, April 22, 2011

After little convincing from my cousin, I was finally able to make my way up to Oak Creek Canyon to do a Photoshoot with my Girls and my Nephew.
I knew immediately the perfect place once we decided to go.  We went to Westfork Trail, which is about 5 miles north of Slide Rock on Highway 89.
It was PERFECT!  There was so much greenery and purple flowers.

After 4 hours of shootng and 683 pictures later, I would say that we DEFINENTLY got enough to choose from
